Hey Rock Rugby Family,

What an incredible evening!

Earlier this evening, among Rock Rugby’s family, friends, former and current players, Coach Rock announced the name of our new field.

Doctor Todd Knight Field.

Rock Rugby field is named in honor of Rock Rugby Coach Dr. Todd Knight. Todd Knight played rugby for Life University, the Canadian National Team, and played professionally in Lagon, France. Dr. Todd Knight coached Rock Rugby for ten years.

Dr. Knight’s wife, Sherri, and son, Reese, were in attendance for the announcement.

Coach Rock was also presented with a flag that has flown over our nation’s capital courtesy of Congressman John Carter. The flag was given as a recognition of Rock Rugby’s dedication to our communities youth.

The first game of touch rugby was played this evening in the frigid cold and rain, the first game of many.

We want to thank everyone in attendance this evening and look forward to seeing you at our first game on Dr. Todd Knight Field.
